Ben — Good overview. Our real estate investing model at OpenPath is a variation on holding that enables accredited investors to passively own real estate –meaning investors can profit from owning real estate and benefit from the tax advantages it offers without ever having to be a landlord.

We partner with groups of individual investors and buy large apartment complexes in secondary markets that are experiencing steady, stable growth. We add value to the property via physical improvements, eco-friendly/conservation measures, and our unique community building initiatives.

Investors receive annual income paid from the rents. After 3–5 years of demonstrated improved operating income we sell the property at a material capital gain which can significantly enhance our investors’ returns. Since OpenPath’s inception 10+ years ago, our investors have seen annual returns of 20%+.
